I can play the sound through my internal speakers, however when I switch to Soundflower 2ch, I hear nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it to no avail. I am currently running El Capitan 10.11.1. I also manually removed the files in /Library/Extensions. I have uninstalled Soundflower and deleted all known files associated with it as well as ran the uninstaller packaged with the software.

ok that confirms to me that the install DOES work and you just haven't set things up quite right (aka "user error - probably same with - Soundflower has no "speakers" or "Recording" capabilities - all it does is take audio in and spit it out!
